Lagniappe on the Bayou

In the past, all the food and beverages for Lagniappe were donated by local businesses,including grocery stores, bakeries, trawl boats, and distributors. To make this year's Lagniappe a success, we need the same level of community involvement. If you represent a company that is interested in helping us this way, please contact us immediately.

One of the hallmarks of the Lagniappe fair was the family run booths. We will be soliciting the occupants of the booths from past Lagniappes, but we will have many places to fill. Possible areas include food, beverage, gaming, crafts, and information. We are especially interested in booths that will showcase our unique heritage. As we approach the date of the fair, we will publish exactly what booths we have left to fill. Please contact us, however, in the meantime if you have an idea for a booth.

We are looking for musical acts, dance troops, school bands, and entertainers. If you are local and want some free exposure, contact us.

To make this fair work, we need money. Because TAP is a nonprofit organization, your donations are tax-deductible. Invest in your community!

We are recruiting the most energetic and talented people Chauvin has to offer. We need people who can help in organizing booths, maintaining fairgrounds, managing talent, and soliciting donations of goods and funds. Contact us if you want to be a part of Lagniappe's resurrection.
